LED kits in stock housing

I was just wondering if anyone's installed LED kits in the stock housing for the high and low beams. How did they look? How was the light output compared to the stock bulbs?

I saw the comparison, but wanted to know if someone had really installed that in its Civic...
Also how they look in the stock reflector housing. I don't have projectors and don't plan to install them...
Also if the drl on high beam is good, no flickers and all...

I wanted to know if they fit right before buying 260$ worth of bulbs (stupid exchange rate...).

I have used them as DRLs. I love the look of them. They were useless as high beams though.

No. The bulbs were nowhere as good as those.

Maybe I'll try the 9005 bulb (drl and high beam), see if it flickers as drl and if it's nice, I'll order a 9006...

If you put resistors it shouldn't flicker.

You'll need to select the canbus option when ordering if the bulb is also a daytime running light. That will prevent flickering when in DRL mode. The LED will just run at normal power as LED's cannot dim or run at a reduced voltage like halogens can. (DRL's usually run about 50% power)

LED headlight unit from xenon depot:
My wife purchase this for my birthday! I'm happy and LOVE them. Now find myself looking to drive at night lol
I also attached a picture of my car next to my wife's 2013 EXL.
Honestly AWESOME mod!!! I can actually see at night now!

I was considering getting similar set up before but I went with conventional HID from morimoto due to their established reputation. But LED is the future or actually more like the present as more and more premium auto makers switch to full LED headlights. I wonder how they would perform in a projector housing

For my part i'll wait for the exchange rate between canada and the us to go up a bit... or up until spring... whichever comes first

I did the installation, which took about 20 minutes, here are some pics:

(the DRL does not really flickers, the camera made that up...)

Nothing to complain right now, these are bright and have a nice beam pattern (not like projectors though...).

Nice. I will be upgrading my high beam lights soon to LED, really don't like the yellowish glow of conventional 9005s when DRL are on. I will be getting them with resistors so that DRL doesn't trip.
