My 2015 Si sedan began overheating yesterday (10/18/2016) (I think) --steam was coming up from the hood after my drive (20 mins) home from work!!

Temp was 201 per FlashPro/iPhone app, but got as high as 208.

So far I haven't had a single issue nor noticed the red overheating light on the dash come on since I bought the car new a year ago.

BUT, the reservoir was bone dry, So I refilled it with pre-mixed 50/50 Prestone. Oil was fine/full, and I don't think I have a coolant leak (?)

My mods are Vit-Tune, Full Race downpipe, and a K & N drop-in air filter.

Current symptoms: Temp creeps up 2 degrees, then down, then up 4 degrees and Intake Air Temp is climbing up over 150! Usually it is much lower.

Any ideas are appreciated. Does anyone know the temps for the stock fans to turn on/off??

I can't believe they made this car without a REAL temp gauge!!

Thanks for any advice. Edward

Bad thermostat not opening at proper temp or bad fan switch not kicking them on? All I can think of.

Keep an eye on the coolant reservoir, if it gets low again then you have a leak somewhere.

Stock fan turns on at 196 and turn off at 194..
If you look in your last flashpro calibration, under "Misc", at the very bottom of the window, you should be able to see what yours are set to.

How hot was it (weather) when your intake temps hit 150?
