Rookie Pikes Peak driver Jeremy Foley and his co-pilot Yuri Kouznetsov were racing theirMitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 down the hill at around Mile 16 when they took a corner too fast and too open with the car sliding on the gravel before it tumbled down the mountain. The only reported injury was a broken leg.
