Because the teams they have usually aren't doing well.

They are not the same team without Earl Thomas, they gonna need a 13th man this year.
Based on their showing on Sunday against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, yeah. But, you can't place the blame completely on Thomas' defensive replacement. He didn't throw 5 interceptions.
