TPMS...

So ive recently had to buy a new TPMS sensor. an from my understanding i have to go back to the dealership to get it reprogramed?
my old sensor was cracked an was just rolling around in my tire for awhile. just decided to get it fixed. but my sensors still off. an they had mentioned that i might have a defected one in my rear too.. an my sensor went on again. so i was wondering if i had to get it reprogrammed at honda. maybe thats why my light came on.. or its because its a defected sensor in the rear as well. Im just tryin not to have to buy another sensor.. but the lights starting to bug me. lol

Unless you can afford the expensive reprogramming tool, the only way to do it is through Honda. There's the option of cloner sensors which are a cheaper alternative and can be done at home.

Any updates on this? I'm looking to get a new set of wheels/tires and I know tirerack sells the tpms specifically for whatever wheels/tires I want. But tirerack doesn't have the wheels I want so I'm debating what to do and where to buy and how much it would cost all said and done.

I've seen dealerships charge anywhere from 25 to 100 to reprogram tpms sensors. Just call your local dealer to ask

Yeah im about to cave and just get them installed in my wheels. I bought some extra TMPS from a member a while ago and they're just sitting around till i can get to the dealer

i havent done anything. i just left it as is. until i have extra money.
