Stock Headlight Bulb Replacement for Brightness and Whiter Light

I'm honestly not expecting much if any of a gain in the brightness of my headlights, since I would not want to go beyond the standard 55/60 watt ratings. I would like to have a whiter light, though. I slightly cool-white would not be out of the question. I don't want anything extreme or in some other odd color.

I've looked at the Sylvania zXe bulbs lately, but I've noticed that there are other bulbs available from various manufacturers, often for a lower price, such as those from Nokya.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

As well, does anyone know what the stock headlight bulb color temp is for the US 2013 LX?

Sylvania silverstar are very popular. Just know that tinted bulbs tend to not last a long time. It's also blocking light output, but they will look more like HID bulbs.

I've had good luck with a few sets of the Nokya bulbs as DRL/High beam bulbs but they definitely are not as bright as the stock ones since they had blue glass on them. I did get them just for looks though. I think the better quality sylvanias and there are some high end GE nighthawks that do perform better than the stock bulb. They are worth the money since they do what they say they do and they will last. A few users on here have swapped and been pretty happy with them.

I'd recommend spending the $$ on the good ones, especially for something like headlights which are pretty important when you need them.
