For those who have the rocker panel dented on their civic, do you eventually get it fixed from a body shop? How much did you pay? Or did you just install the side skirts and call it a day? I got a small dent on the driver side for a couple of years. As I want to install the Mugen side skirts this summer, I think I want to fix it before installing. What is your opinion? Thanks

Get it fixed in case you want to trade in one day.

If you're not gonna trade it in/sell it and don't want to get it fixed make sure you paint over any parts that expose paint to prevent rust growth...clean ride btw!

I don't plan to sell it nor trade in. I want to keep my civic until it dies one day LOL.
I checked and I don't see any expose paint. My initial idea is that I may diy paint the side skirts myself, then ask a body shop to install, and check if there is any expose paint and touch it though.

body shop would likely have to grind off the paint & stud weld to pull the panel out & then repaint

not the greatest vid, but it's essentially the same idea

Thanks @webby
It does not look that difficulty for a body shop to repair though. I got a few quote lately. It ranges from 250-350, need 1 -2 day minimum leaving at their shop.

Hopefully it dies a long long long time from now! I scraped my rocker panel pretty bad, i painted it with color matched paint and the undercoat stuff
