Possible uneven fading of interior?

Hey guys, I'm not even sure if it would be possible, but I was thinking about a grey scale of the Maryland flag as a tint for my back windshield. Since different parts of the tint would be different shades, (darker/lighter) would this eventually cause uneven fading of my interior? Thanks in advance!

There are a few things to think about here... tint is on the inside of your vehicles windows and typically provide some kind of UV protection depending on brands. I would think something like what your talking about would be done with vinyl on the exterior of your cars window.

If it was done with tint ( if possible) then no you should no see any uneven ware due to the fact its film and would still protect as film throughout.

Since the car won't be sitting in the sun at the same angle, will also help to shift the pattern of shadows.

Can't even fathom a tint shop taking that task on after looking at the design. You'd have so many seams to match up, and I just don't see the outcome being good at all. Have you ever seen a tint job where they had to place a line between two sheets of film? Now imagine that all over in different patterns. It is not going to match up well from piece to piece. If you could even convince a tint shop to agree, it's going to be astronomically priced. They'd have to have a vinyl plotter to cut the pattern. They'd be using essentially double the tint film to cut the pattern out of the roll. Just my opinion....but I hope you'll post results of what you find out.

I've come to realize from replies on this thread that it would be better to just do a vinyl. Tiny seems almost impossible. Thanks for the replies
