Painted Headlights?

Well, couldn't find any threads in regards to having people disassembled their headlights and painting them. If anything, they were about black SpecD or Spyder headlights.

Anyways, has anyone ever attempted to paint their headlights? Or is it not just sensible to do so. For some odd reason I've been itching to have clear corner lenses and then painting the headlight housing white. Thoughts?

I don't think I've ever seen the housing painted white, I've seen low beam reflectors painted black mostly

Do you have a retrofit? The chrome is what makes the headlights function for standard halogen bulbs. If you have a retro, that's another story. Most people paint them black for the most part.
