Oil dip stick reading

Hey guys it seems everytime I do an oil change when I finish putting oil I let it run for a few minutes at idle then I drive easy around the block when I come back home I check my dip stick and it always reads half way is this normal

Ps I also put 4.4 quarts am I doing something wrong never had this issue with all my other Hondas before and don't wanna put to much

Check it 5-10 min after driving ...on a level surface. You'll have oil drain back into the pan for an accurate reading. If its still low, add about a quarter of a quart.

Let it the car sit for 15-20 minutes and check on level ground. About 300ml easily stays in the head and it takes that long for it to run back into the crankcase. It's 2.4l Honda thing. Beat by the Webby again!
