So how did the Juke-R and GT-R compare on a lap of the south circuit at Bedford Autodrome?

The supercar went first, when the track was still slightly damp, but the low-down thrust of its engine came to the fore as it recorded a time of 65.8 seconds.

By the time the Juke-R went against the stopwatch, the track had dried out a bit. The less aerodynamic shape held the car back over the circuit's long straights, and it took 1.3 seconds longer, with a time of 67.1 seconds -- a sterling effort considering its less powerful engine and additional weight.​

Nissan Announces It Will Build The Juke-R & Give it More Power

One of last year's wackiest concept models, the Juke-R, which blends the body of Nissan's small crossover with the driveline of the GT-R, will be made available to buy in a very limited run on a build-to-order basis, Nissan announced today.


Not only will it be built, but the production Juke-R will actually be more powerful than the concept as instead of sporting the MY10 GT-R's 485hp V6, it will get the 545-horsepower drivetrain and chassis of the improved MY12 (2013MY in North America) GT-R!

Nissan said it took the decision to produce the Juke-R after attracting enormous attention, especially since it debuted the 3.8-litre, 160mph (257km/h) model in Dubai in January this year. "The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan’s most innovative models," said Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Product Manager for the Juke. "But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing – people were making offers for the original on the street!"

, I don't how they put $565,000 worth of upgrades into the original version!

I've seen some reporting they expect pricing to be slightly higher than the current gt-r pricing.

Still an insane price if you ask me! Its still a Juke, I can understand the GT-R but this is a little odd.

The Nissan Juke R Will Cost $600,000

Nissan initially said they wouldn't divulge the price of the Nissan Juke R set to go into limited production this year, but a source tells us around $600,000 is the sweet spot for most markets. That's roughly the equivalent of 30 base Juke Rs.
The pricing for the 545 hp Godzilla-toad Juke R, if our source is right, matches with what we'd heard earlier from Skiddmark about it costing "Several GT-Rs" to buy one.
A price tag of $600,000 (roughly 450K Euros) is definitely equivalent to "several" of the roughly $100K sports cars. All that scratch gets you the custom RML-built hybrid, which involves the company buying both a Nissan Juke and a GT-R and then tearing them down to form the unholy parts alliance.
According to our friends at autoplus.fr, the total production run will be limited to no more than 20-25 vehicles.

I don't think anyone has a clue on price. One report was slightly higher than a gt-r, another claimed ~125k, another said $250k, and also $600k...

It wouldn't be a bad idea to charge out the wazoo for it, nobody's gonna buy it either way, but now it'll be like ONLY for the mega rich. Some weird billionaire will think it's waaaay cooler than any supercar and buy one... Maybe haha.
