New to the site, looking for projection headlights

Hello all, I just bought my Civic Si about a week ago, and I've been digging around the site looking where the best place to get some projection headlight that I can use HID's in them. I read some threads, but I'm still a little confused on if this can be done, and where's a good place to purchase. Any input would be great, and if I missed a thread that has covewrd this I apologize in advance.

The easiest projector to do yourself is the mini h1 from theretrofitsource.com. If you're going to have someone else do the installation, then you can pick just about any projector you like/fits your budget.

All but the mini h1 will be much more complex to do yourself. They'll take significant cutting of your own headlights to fit. Companies like hidillusionz.com do that kind of work if you're willing to ship them your lights.

Great information, I just don't feel comfortable taking apart the headlight, and since this is my only car It's not an option to send my headlight to get worked on. As far as picking a projector, and having someone install it, is there a place you can recomend that I can use HID's?

I'm looking for some aftermarket headlights that i can use HID's in them. I will be having someone put them in as I nervous about things like that. I've been looking online for some, but it seems that I can't find them for the 2015. So I was wondering do you know where I could get them.

You can use hid bulbs in your current headlights if you want. xenondepot and a bunch of other sites sell kits.

So you think I could buy the HID kit and install in then once they start making more headlight fixtures for the 2015 I could put that in with the HIDs?

It's hard to say. Some of the aftermarket headlights use halogen h1 bulbs in their projectors. People have put h1 hid bulbs in them and they didn't perform as expected, because they are designed for halogen bulbs. Halogen and hid bulbs emit light out of their bulbs differently. The reflector bowls are designed for a halogen bulb, so inserting a hid bulb into the housing can yield poor output. Your car uses a h11 bulb currently, so you couldn't just swap a h11 hid bulb over into something designed for a h1 bulb. So it'd depend on what companies make.

2025 is awhile away...we won't have any of those yet!

We do have 2015 Civic projector headlights, but only for the Sedan at the moment. The 2014+ Coupe headlights are still not out yet.
