Has anyone given this thing a try? Or know anything about it? I've done previous research but nothing is as good as hands on experience! I decided not to go with the lucas additive because ive seen it in a real world test and that stuff forms air bubbles like a mofo at high gear rpms! I'm planning on using it for my first oil change at 5000 miles. I'll also be using 0w-20 amsoil along with a K&N HP-1010 Filter

I haven't used it, it's a friction reducer. So If you're going to use Amsoil the other stuff would be redundant and could mess up the properties of Amsoil.

In the video I saw amsoil is the best friction reducer from other top tier oil brands. I'm not worried about the motorkote taking the friction reducing properties away, as long as it does better than the amsoil. I get the amsoil cheap anyways because my dad gets some good discounts

Scratch that. I did another search of soil and found it contained 28% chlorine and screwed up a cummins engine. For it to have done that, motorkote must be some hard core messed up stuff. But there's a difference between conventional and synthetic oil. People with Diesel engines typically use 15-40 conventional oil so idk what to think. But as of now it'll be sitting on my oil shelf at home lol

Nice move. You shouldn't ever need to add anything to your Honda engine other than regular oil changes. My accord ran over 200,000 miles before I sold it and I ran conventional the whole time. Nothing fancy. I think you'll do more harm than good with those additives.

Most modern oils have plenty of additives mixed into them anyway so you shouldn't be needing to add anything else.

I really see those as a temp fix for someone with an old clunker that they are trying to keep alive. Like an 80's GM.

Do you think I should stick to my amsoil 0-20 for the first couple oil changes then move up to 5-20? Down here where I live the temperatures can get to 100* easy

Stick with 0-20. The main problem with oil and protecting the engine is on startup as the oil is generally too thick to lubricate properly even with the 0w. With your ambient temp being high, it can only help. Also the thinner oil will run very efficiently.

There won't be much of a difference between the 5 and the 0, but stick to the 0-20 if you can and buy the best oil you can. Full synthetic like mobil1 or the amsoil if you like it.
