Modding the 12V for cigarette car lighter

Guys wonder how I would Mod the 12V for cigarette car lighter. In ever use the 2 12V outlets I have and for me are useless. I smoke and some times can't find a lighter so this would be ideal. Can it be done?

Your car has the round 12v socket, right? You just need to buy a lighter plug.

I don't know man. The 12 volt plug might one day be useful. GPS, a cooler, blowing up an air mattress while camping, laptops.....
Why not just buy a lighter? Haha

I have two. One in the arm rest and the one up front.

Is there a difference in todays sockets vs sockets of the old days? Would think you just plug the cigarette lighter plug in and go...

The 12v doesn't have a ceramic insert which is what u need to be able to use a 12v outlet as a lighter.
