Hello,

Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, my apologies if its incorrect. Was wondering where is a good place to find an interior lighting kit (blue) for the floors and a rear spoiler for a 2013 Civic LX. I don't really want to go thru the dealership cause they are expensive, but not looking for cheap materials either. Thanks and have a great day!

Build a custom interior lighting kit! You can buy 4 - 12" LED strips off eBay for around $5/set or buy from LED Glow and get a multi-colour, million colour or different mode set up. use an add a circuit for power and add a switch if you dont want them on all the time. I used 2 sets of 4 strips off eBay for about $10, an add a circuit from eBay for about a $1.50 and an OEM Honda accessory switch for about $12. total <$25 + install time (free :P)

For the spoiler, what are you looking for? OEM or aftermarket?

Ooo that looks really nice! Thanks I will look into that, do you remember which ones you bought from Ebay? Did you get the OEM Honda switch from Ebay as well or somewhere else? Was the installation hard for that? Sorry for all the questions lol. As for the spoiler, I'm looking for a deck lid one, something subtle and not too wild, does it matter if OEM or aftermarket? Thanks again.

Thanks! the installation isnt hard depending what you want to do. I had the ones in the doors tapped into power windows and grounded on the speaker bolt at first, then ran power from an add a circuit through the door grommets so i could control everything with a switch instead of always being on. The wire running can be a pain in the a$$ but worth it so you dont see any wires or anything. I dont remember which LEDs i got. To be honest just type in 12" 30cm blue LED strip into eBay search, sort with lowest price + shipping and you should find a set for around $5 or you can get lucky and get a good price by bidding on a set like this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/4X30CM-Water...656400?pt=US_Car_Lighting&hash=item23430b1a10. The accessory switch i got is OEM and I ordered it from a dealership. You could order it from collegehillshonda.com if you live in the US. HOWEVER the accessory switch does not fit my civic like the 2012's and the whole button part of the switch is protruding instead of sitting flush because the switch slots are smaller (You can see what I mean in my build thread page 7 or 8). I havent been able to find a switch that fits yet, so I'm ordering some generic ones like this http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221581836521?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649 to use instead.

As for the spoiler you may be able to get an OEM one from college hills honda or you could find any spoiler you like if it fits you trunk.

no problem about the questions. Ive asked my fair share around here and continue to do so all the time!
