Hi,
Somebody hit my rear bumper and gives me these "screw head" marks from the plates of the car who hit me. Btw I have 3m paint defender sprayed on my bumper.

I wanna know my options on how to repair it. Clay? Fillers? Paint? Fix it pro scratch remover?

any ideas is much appreciated. Thanks alot

@323 may want to comment.

I'd say you'll have to use filler/sand...and then paint the area. You'll want to remove the 3m as well. Sorry it happened. Hit and run?

Thanks.
For painting, i wonder if how can i get the exact color? According to the dealer, the color is titatnium gray. Yeah i will remove the paint defender. Somebody hit me after changing lanes

That really sucks. I'm thinking you'll need to fill it.

Since I have no bodywork skills, I'd have to get a quote from a body shop. I wonder if you can remove the bumper and leave that with the shop, so you can still have your car to drive. Maybe that might be illegal?

I would suggest Bondo, or a comparable filler.
those are not just scratches, more like small holes, so any scratch repair kit wouldn't do much.
If you feel like taking it on yourself, it will take a lot of effort with the sanding and blending required to make it look right.

I would start by at least getting a quote from a body shop

Ugh sorry that happened to you, man. I had that too- bumped by a parallel parker with a front license plate. I would take it to your local collision shop- after my car got hit they had to blend the bumper with the side and filled things in for me. They did a great job.

There are companies online that put oem base coat paint into spray cans for like $20-$25. They also sell clearcoat.

Examples -
http://www.automotivetouchup.com
http://www.paintscratch.com

Thanks for this, i found the right color, i ordered 1/2 oz. I might do this project if its not cold anymore.
was planning to go to the shop but i might spend hundreds of $$$. will look for some filler/putty in my local autoparts
