You can't stop a$$holes.

I was temporarily handicapped while suffering with avascular necrosis, and recovering from a total hip implant two years ago. Someone once had the guts to make a comment to me because I had stopped using a cane, but still needed to stay close. After getting out of my car in a handicapped spot, they said something snide to me. I just ignored them, but felt like telling them to STFU.

It's a shame. The Dr gave my mom a handicap pass to use as needed as she has SEVERE asthma. Sometimes it's hard for her to even walk from the handicap spot to the inside of the store. She's one of those that goes everywhere with a nebulizer. I don't think she's ever been approached or left a note though.

I have a messed up back from a accident and have a handicapped placard that I have to occasionally use and people give me the worse looks and even get mad at me and say I am faking it...

One of the reasons why I've never applied for one. I still look like a teenager (I'm far from it). Like as in I get ID'd for alcohol @_@; I don't look sick either but yeah, the polite Canadian thing is just the surface only.

I've had Drs be flat out rude and tell me I'm too young for things that I'm not. A lot of people think I'm 16. They're shocked when they find out I'm married.....and 25.

If they'd make all parking spaces wide enough so people won't ding doors, 50% of them could give the P Pass up......
