handbrake cable ajustment

Hello folks
I am a newby on this site, hope my 2012 honda civic es 2.2 D-tec is included.
Anyone know how to remove center console to gain access to handbrake cables
I want to release any tension from cables in order to reset handbrake or piston in callipers
I do not want to distroy console as it looks to be click fit, so any help as to ware the realease
points would be most helpfull

If I remember right, you need to remove the shift knob and trim around it. Then there are 2 screws (I think) under the arm rest and 4 under the trim you removed around the shift knob. After that there are a few clips at the front under the dash you need to remove. I found this diy that has pictures and more in-depth instructions to remove it.

thank you for your reply and pictures i am hoping as i only need access to the handbrake cables i wont need to remove every thing
