Hey guys!
So I received a $100 gift card from work and I can use it at many locations; two being Best Buy and Crutchfield. So, I think I want to upgrade my sound system.
I have a 2014 Civic EXL w/Nav. I love the interface how everything works and the screen. I don't want to change it and I want to keep all my controls (wheel buttons, imid)
So, I want to keep it with Pioneer brand. I was looking at their prices for speakers and it looks like I can get the speakers. Now after using the search function I see the Amp will make the hugest difference and not the speakers. However when used in combination (speakers/amp) the sound will be night and day (compared to what I have).
Here is what I was looking at:
Pioneer TS-A1305C which includes 2 speakers, 2 tweeters, 2 crossover
Pioneer TS-A1375R which is 2 5-1/4 3way car speakers
Pioneer GM-A6604 which puts out 60watts RMS X 4 (each speaker)
So my question is this.
The speakers looks like its an easy install as they provide connections and there are youtube videos. However for the tweeters and the amp, might need an installer and that should bring the price down.
Does anyone think this is a good setup?
Will I keep all my controls options?
Will my imid still work as should?
I have 2 12" sub woofers from pioneer IMPP 2's i think that I never opened years ago however I need the trunk space and don't want that much of a sound.
What do you guys think?
