Full race downpipe

So I recently purchased the full race 3" catless downpipe for my 2014 si. I don't have flashpro yet but I'm excited to get the downpipe on. I know it will most likely throw a CEL running the catless downpipe. My question is if I get a defouler to get rid of the CEL will it be safe to drive it without a tune? I don't want to mess up my car just because I'm excited to get parts on. Thanks in advance!

It will run but its not going to run well and you may actually loose power. The defouler probably wont keep the CEL from coming on either. Your best bet is to wait till you get flashpro so you can get the full benefits.

It'll run, but nowhere like it'll run with a tune. You'll prob run super rich without flashpro/tune. Defouler actually should keep the cel from happening, but flashpro will get rid of it too.
