ENKIE RPF1 good deal or pass?

Do you guys think 600 bucks for enkie rpf1s is a good deal?The kicker is that they are not perfect. They do have some curb rash on a couple wheels. And one wheel looks like it has a little bend in it from a pothole or something.The tires also need to be replaced. So should I jump on these or just pass on them? The rims are 17x9 not sure of the offset though. Lemme know what you guys think.

They actually look like 17x8+35 17x9 usually have a flat face to them. Spokes are not curved. Either way it's a good deal for a light weight wheel.

Just my opinion, but I'd avoid any damaged wheels. Especially if they're bent or anything like that

Its not a massive bend but you can see it. Maybe I could just replace the one. But they are like 250 each brand new.

I did exactly that when I bought my Koseis. One wheel had horrendous rash. So instead of repairing it, I just bought a new one and still had a complete set in great condition under retail price.

Yeah replacing the one could be a great idea. I say go check them out and if it's still a good deal after any needed repair/replacement. Go for it!

I would see if he is willing to have the wheel checked out first to see if it can be repaired. Some places won't touch racing wheels because it could compromise the wheel if the bend is too much.

I have a wed sport wheel that this happened to and no one wanted to take a chance.

he is wrong. like others have stated, 8j will have the bubble face (which his has). 9j and wider is when you'll get the concave/flat face. how much is he asking? these pop up all the time on craigslist or other classifieds, so it might just be worth your time waiting to get the best set you can find for your money.

He was asking 600.

If you're gonna pay 250 for one new wheel you might as well pay an extra 100-200 for a set in good condition. I see many rpf1's go for 800-1200 the more expensive ones are usually sbc and they're in good condition with usable tires.

Exactly what I was thinking. Im glad I waited because I dont think there worth it now. Im just tired of looking at my stock wheels. The wheels I really want are only 400 more but still need tires
