After graduating from an engineering school, I realized that the truth about engineering is making the normal people lazy or the lazy people lazier. Engineering, or technology perhaps, will make the daily living so much simpler. We will all end up like those fat people from the movie 'Wall-E'.

Also, it will be interesting if the Audi isn't really 'computer' controlled. There's probably a designated guy sitting on a desk who controls the car with a game controller. Lol.

Yes, it can make people lazy but I also think this would be great for those with multiple sclerosis and other similar things, veterans or others who have lost limbs, etc that make walking distances difficult

I wonder if they are thinking about gas and parking. That was pretty simple to to turn a corner and park, but it isn't that simple. Great concept but what if your car came back with a ticket for parking in a no park zone or better yet it doesn't come back because it got towed. I could imagine the door dings/cub rash this thing will get. It may work but I have a lot of doubts.

^ didn't think of no parking/handicapped/assigned-pay parking. Just wild though. I'd go nuts if I got caught behind it going so slow though.

My Jeep had that floor board and fender arrangement it was as close to ding protected a they get, and that's why I can live with my body mold strip on m coupe.and there are things like this:

yeah don't like that automated thing.... what if it's metered parking? just break the gate and park illegally?! lol
