Defrost problem

Hi guys,

I just bought a new civic 2013 LX and I have a question about the heating system.

When my car is hot, I have warm air from any of the vents I choose except from the defrost near the windshield... from there it only blows cool air!! If I choose defrost and feet, I have warm air on my feets and on the side vent near the steering but cool air on the windshield.

Want to know if this is normal before I bring it to the dealer.

Have you let it run for a while on the defrost? It may feel cold at first from the windshield glass being cold.

I ran the car for 25 minutes this morning and when I parked it at my job I took my hand on the vent to feel the air and it was cool... but warm at my feet and side vent near the steering
