Audi Was Recently Crowned Winner
Audi car owners are more likely to cheat on their partners than any other motorists, a new survey has claimed. BMW drivers had previously held the unwanted title but were overtaken this year in the poll by IllicitEncounters. Over 700K users responded to the poll, and the results are below.
The survey also suggested that owners of premium car brands are the most adulterous of all the motorists. 'Cars can reveal a lot about their owners,' explained IllicitEncounters spokesman Mike Taylor.
'All the cars in the top five represent our members, they are typically successful, motivated, high-achievers who are less likely to settle for something they find unsatisfying, be it a car or a relationship.
'Car manufacturers know this and Mercedes even famously used infidelity to advertise their cars with the banned Not In This Weather advert.'
Car brands with the fewest number of adulterers were both French, with Peugeot and Renault drivers the least likely to stray.
