Insurify Looked At Insurance Data From 1.6 Million Users & This Is What They Found:

While the study looked at over 1.6 million applications for car insurance, it found most speeders didn’t own high-performance cars. Instead, many of the models were fairly mainstream. The national average was 11.28% of owners having at least one ticket on their record.

Coming in first place, with 20.12% of owners with at least one speeding ticket was the Subaru WRX. That’s nearly twice the average of 11.28%.

The second place vehicle was the Scion FR-S. 19.09% of owners have at least one speeding ticket on their record.

3rd place on the list goes to the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Nearly 17% of owners have been ticketed for speeding in the mild hatch which slots between the standard model and the high-performance Golf R.

4th place goes to a vehicle that has been out of production for a couple of years. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes in at 15.75% of owners have a history of speeding.

5th - Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - 15.35% of owners have been ticketed in the past.
6th - Ram 2500 - 15.32%
7th - Dodge Dart - 14.86%
8th - Infiniti G37 - 14.72%
9th - Subaru Impreza - 14.66%
10th - Hyundai Veloster - 14.48%

With Texas2K and all those muscle cars getting caught racing I wonder if it is not considered speeding but more like careless driving instead.

I would say bright colors are the worst -especially red cars for tickets

This list is useless. The driver's weren't necessarily ticketed in these cars.

not quite for tagging the wrx, all you have to do is look at their huge hood scoop. Perhaps the way to go is turn the headlights into cold air ducks like the charger does. Notice the Black honda si is mostly invisible to cops because of its real dark color and small rear wing and no hood scoop at all, yet it is quite fast. I added active cop chaser the $500 Escort radar detector which hold the worlds record at detection of Ka band the most often used and can't be detected by counter PD anti radar detectors. I have 35% tinted windows too, the legal max. My Pearl Black Honda si is very sleuth and so far never been stopped. One speeding ticket will cost at least a $1,000 or more just in insurance + the ticket- not fun at all. Best idea don't speed in area's with a lot of cops. Never ever buy a bright red car LOL!
