Watched the documentary called Blackfish. Really powerful documentary about the falsehood of Sea World. Anybody else see it?

Yeah man. Messed up stuff. I already didn't like SeaWorld and I definitely don't think such large apex predators should be kept in captivity at all. Its a really bad situation all around there.

Yeah after watching that documentary it really gets you thinking about how SeaWorld operated after a total of 3 deaths only by captive orcas. Not one fatality or attack has happened with humans and wild Orcas according to the documentary.

Seaworld employee:
"They live to be around 30 years old in captivity, which is longer than in the wild cause they are protected here."
"Dorsal fin collapse happens in about 25% of the population naturally"

Several different scientists:
"In the wild we have documentation from as far back as the 80s of Orcas living well into their 60s and 70s. Their life expectancy is half in captivity."
"Dorsal fin collapse happens in less than 1% of wild Orcas."

Great job Seaworld. Tell a lie long enough and everyone will believe it. I mean, why wouldn't Seaworld be the most trusted source of information? They don't have a conflict of interest in keeping these animals locked up do they?
