Battery Recall!!!!!

Hey everyone listen up!!

Call your local Honda Dealership and check to see if your car battery has been recalled!!!
As of December 10th, Honda set out a Battery Recall notice, which i conveniently never got, for certain Civic models (Customer rep wouldn't specify). I only found out when i finally got tired of boosting my battery daily and called in to complain.

Please call your dealer and find out!!!

. I think the recall/system update is only for 2012's, but I'm not 100% on that.

My 2012 Si starts well at -28 C with only half second delay. I only drive it 5 miles one way to work so not a lot of charging. That makes me think it is a VIN range issue than a general one.

I also checked my VIN at

http://www.honda.ca/recalls

and it says no recalls available.

Curious what it says for people that received the recall letters.

I got the letter and put my VIN in and I got a recall warning. It is the same thing as what I got in the mail. It is only for 2012s.

Called my honda dealer today as I've been having some issues...the lady told me no service bulletins had been posted and there were no current battery recalls. THere needs to be one in the states.

I did not tell her my name or name or year model that I have.
