2013 Civic windshield wiper throw

Is there any way to adjust the 'throw' of a windshield wiper on a 2013 Honda Civic or is there a possible problem I can look for and correct? I'm NOT looking for adjusting the rest position, but to adjust the travel distance.

Background of problem: I hit a deer - messed up hood, smashed windshield, dented roof, . . . The wiper blades gone and arms pushed up some. Three weeks later got it back from the body shop, nice and looking new. Next rain I found out the drivers side wiper doesn't wipe as much. It leaves a nice chunk on the side of the windshield unwiped. Complained to insurance, took the car in for fix. . . they moved the resting position up some. It leaves a little less on the side now, but now the wiper rests up off the bottom where I see it now.

How can I fix that? Can't seem to find any manuals (online or paper) that don't require an expensive subscription. And only help I've found is how to adjust the resting position.

Any help? Please. Or do I just need to learn to live with it.

Welcome! I don't have an answer for you, but will be following this to learn something........ Good luck......... Sorry about the deer damage.
What State do you live in? My state Va. is among the highest for deer strikes. I hit two deer inside of 8 months, one on mc then my car, luck may have it, I got the speed down enough not to do any damage to either vehicle, talk about close. The mc I was looking for them in that area.. The car has good brakes, I taped it's leg, it stumbled an ran off, I checked the bumper, no marks....... But now seeing how quick they can get in front of us(which wasn't that well perceived before I actually touched one), it's an all time search and my speeds have dropped in a lot of suspected areas, and another issue is on my mind a lot...... People that that are following me to close that if I were to do a deer stop, are they going to rear end me. I've always been a space peep, but now the deer add to that facture.

There's really only one answer to this problem:

Wiper works fine - car hits dear- wipers don't travel properly = something is bent in the wiper mechanism
Adjusting the resting position is not how you fix the problem, its an attempt to fix the issue.
Personally I would be hesitant to go back to the body shop only because they are not looking into fixing the problem. They are trying to cover it up by changing the resting position of the wiper. I would ask whoever you take it to to fix, to actually inspect the whole wiper mechanism properly to see what's wrong. The resting position should be at the factory level and the sweep should be how it was before you hit the deer.
Do I dare ask how the deer is doing @Ron G?

I live in KS, but hit the deer near Springfield, MO. So that is where the car was repaired. I told the insurance I'd prefer not to drive 270 miles to get the wipers repaired so they gave me a place locally. They sent me to a dealership nearby which doesn't sell Honda vehicles (and I have to wonder if they even work on Honda very often).

We never found the buck so either it got up and left or it was hidden in the brush of the median. We know it was a good size buck only because I pulled a 3.5 inch antler point out of my car. So it must have been a multi point buck.

I would see if they replaced the wiper motor/arm assembly. Like @JonnyRotten said, the only issue here is a bent wiper arm assembly not allowing to rotation of the wiper motor to fully transfer the movement to the linear wipe motion. Without a visual or personal tear down I can't imagine much else wrong.

Could you take a pic for us of the area it doesn't cover? I know on the left side, drivers side, of my windshield there is a 3-4" strip that the wiper doesn't reach.
