Hi guys I have a 13 civic sedan and I wanna give it a more aggressive roar rather than the stock sound but I don't want it too loud. I don't know much about what to get. Can Yall give me some info on exhaust, mufflers, catback and things like that. The muffler shop says he has all magnaflow products.IMG_20140120_122321.jpgIMG_20140120_122014.jpg
 
Hey! I think you should go on the 8thcivic facebook group page and ask them if anyone has an axleback to sell you.

Also, what are the specs of your wheels?
 
I have a magnaflow axle back on my 2013 EX. Sounds alright but after awhile you want something a bit louder haha

Haha that is exactly what I said at first lol. You'll change your mind after awhile ;) trust me haha. You can also take a look at Tsudo catback. Probably the best bang for the buck exhaust out there for our 9th

I realize everyone has different budgets.... but bro, if you went a full cat-back Tsudo, words can't describe how different it really is compared to a axle-back, not to mention the actual muffler is freaking HUGE!!! :DIMG00255-20130713-1412.jpg

I just bought the Tsudo Catback lol. Can't wait to slap it on :) Is that a Tsudo on your car ?

yes sir, have had it for over a year now, funny tho i posted a before and after video on uTube, but everyone pointing out its the same as stock, but in real life its not, its got a nice mellow rumble and an ever so slightly drone to it, i really don't notice unless i turn my stereo off, pffft, like that will ever happen... But I would never personally remove my cat, then it would get loud.... lol man i gotta get rid of those silly rings on my rims, too silly, well atleast i know now... but on a positive note my springs sag a little more every year.... lol

How is the droning tho ? Are they really loud inside and outside the car ?
 
inside its not bad, as far as i kno the EX's are well insulated for outside noise, its not loud, just louder than stock... IF you are the kind of person who hates boom boom boom from subs then it may annoy you... and as far as i know the 13+ are even quieter inside... so I don't think you will have any issues there bro. as far as outside, i havent had any complaints, but have had alot with my 2001..... just to give you an idea, it was after i took out the cat and replaced it with a header, that alot of neighbors whined to me with my 2001....
